Art Room Talk: The Best Game Ever!

A new game in the art room encourages students to collaborate with classmates to create a creative response to questions inspired by artists and art movements.

" Jackson Pollock was a renowned for his unconventional painting methods. He placed his canvas on the floor and dripped, poured and threw his paint at it, resulting in pictures that often remind viewers of childlike scribbles. Pollock's style of action painting is known as Abstract Expressionism."

Artist of the month update...

November's Artist was Gustav Stickley which inspired the students perspective drawings and paintings.


During December and January student's have learned about Jackson Pollock. They are currently working on a range of art using his painting techniques including dripping paint and making interesting marks with a variety of tools.
